Where To Stay In Jimbaran? Best Locations.<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\nJimbaran runs along the southern coast of Bali and stretches slightly inland. It\u2019s located about a 20-minute drive south of Ngurah Rai International Airport, depending on traffic.<\/p>\n
The closer you can stay to the beach, the better \u2014 most of Jimbaran’s charm is found near the coastline and the main road (Jl. Raya Uluwatu).<\/p>\n
While some accommodation options inland may still be labeled as Jimbaran, I recommend staying close to the beach and main road for the best experience. This is where you\u2019ll find the top beachfront resorts<\/strong>, seafood restaurants, and the most relaxed atmosphere.<\/p>\n
One thing to consider is which section of Jimbaran Beach<\/strong> to stay in. Each area has its own feel and proximity to different attractions:<\/p>\n

- South Jimbaran<\/strong> is my personal favourite. It has a beautiful stretch of beach, stunning views of the Bukit Peninsula, and is home to my favourite seafood restaurants on the beach<\/a>. It\u2019s also close to other great dining options. Although not in the middle of the areas, I would consider this area to be the centre of Jimbaran. <\/li>\n
- The middle part of the beach<\/strong> has more of a local feel and is close to the traditional market and some incredible restaurants (like Cuca<\/strong>, one of our favourites). It\u2019s a nice balance between beach access and everyday local life.<\/li>\n
- The north end of Jimbaran Beach<\/strong>, known as Kedonganan<\/strong>, is right next to the seafood market and just south of the airport. Although this area still has a lot to offer, it’s a little farther from the main resorts and restaurants and tends to feel less relaxing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

We recommend spending at least 2 – 4 nights in Jimbaran, but you could also easily spend one week here if you wanted to relax, especially if you were staying in one of the luxury resorts. <\/p>\n
There’s not a long list of things to do in Jimbaran<\/a>, so two nights would be just enough to get a taste of the area.<\/p>\n
Four nights gives you plenty of time to relax, visit the seafood market, enjoy the beach, explore the traditional market, and savour a seafood dinner on the beach.<\/p>\n
It may not have the number of restaurants that are in Seminyak<\/a> and Canggu<\/a>, but it still has some delicious eating experiences. One of our favourite places to eat in Jimbaran is Cuca. <\/p>\n
Jimbaran Bay is also a good base to experience other areas of Bali. Uluwatu<\/a> is just next door and is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in Bali<\/a>. If you plan to spend a few days in Uluwatu with Jimbaran as your base, we recommend a one-week stay. <\/p>\n
